The student holds what was just seen long enough to use it — copying from the board, following a written model, remembering a route.

This is the limiting factor when: Copying is accurate but extremely slow with many glances per item, or the student writes correctly then loses the model.

  • New memory change in adulthood is screened and referred before it is treated.
